Follow these steps to process a tip during a credit card transaction:
1. Select the Payment Option
- After selecting the items and clicking the ‘Pay’ option in the POS system, proceed with the payment process.
2. Tip Option on the Credit Card Terminal
- The Tip option will appear on the credit card terminal once the payment method is selected.
3. Customer Enters Tip
- The customer can enter the tip amount directly on the credit card terminal, either by selecting a preset amount or entering a custom tip amount.
4. Complete the Transaction
- After the tip is entered, the transaction will be finalized. The total amount, including the tip, will be processed through the payment system.
