To enhance customization options for your menu items, you can add modifiers in your POS system by following these steps:
1. Access Modifier Groups
- Log in to your My POSPointe portal at https://mypospointe.com/
- Navigate to the Modifier Groups section.
2. Create and Add Modifiers
- Add a new modifier group if needed (e.g., “Condiments” or “Toppings”).
- Define individual modifiers within the group (e.g., Extra Ketchup, Extra Mayo, No Onion).
3. Assign Modifiers to a Menu Item
- Select the menu item you want to customize (e.g., Sandwich).
- Click the Modifier button and choose the relevant modifiers from the available list.
4. Save Your Changes
- Once all desired modifiers are added to the item, click Save to apply the changes.
Modifiers will now appear as options when the item is selected during order entry.
