- Select the Item
- Start by selecting the item from the POS system that you want to add special instructions for.
- Enter Special Instructions
- In the special instructions field, type the customer’s specific requests (e.g., “no onions,” “extra cheese,” “allergy to nuts,” or “extra spicy”).
- Send to Kitchen
- After entering the instructions, send the order to the kitchen by selecting the “Send to Kitchen” button. The kitchen staff will be able to view the special instructions and prepare the order accordingly.
- Verify with the Customer
- It’s good practice to confirm the special instructions with the customer before finalizing the order to ensure their needs are clearly understood.
