At ASN IT, we provide the Pax Aries 8 terminal, which comes with a built-in EMV chip card reader. This feature is already integrated into the terminal and requires no additional setup.
1. Power On the Terminal
- Ensure that the Pax Aries 8 terminal is plugged in and powered on.
2. Connect to Network
- Make sure the terminal is properly connected to your network (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, depending on your setup).
3. Insert the Credit/Debit Card
- When processing a payment, ask the customer to insert their credit/debit card into the card reader slot on the terminal. The chip should be facing up.
4. Complete the Transaction
- The terminal will automatically read the EMV chip, process the payment securely, and may prompt for a PIN or signature depending on the card type.
- Once the payment is approved, the terminal will display a confirmation, and you can provide the customer with a receipt.
