What is Dashboard?
The dashboard in a POS (Point of Sale) cloud system is a central interface displaying real-time insights and key metrics of business operations. It provides at-a-glance information on sales, inventory, and other relevant data. The dashboard enhances decision-making by offering a comprehensive overview, facilitating efficient management within the POS system.

1.Gross Sales
This refers to the total revenue of the month generated by a business from its primary activities, such as the sale of goods or services, before deducting any expenses or allowances. It represents the initial or raw income earned by the company from its core operations.

2.Net Sales
This refers to the revenue of the month generated from the sale of goods or services after deducting any returns, discounts, and allowances. In other words, it represents the total amount of money a company earns from its sales, excluding any adjustments or reductions.

3.Sales Tax
This shows monthly consumption tax imposed by the government on the sale of goods and services. It is typically a percentage of the retail price and is collected by the seller from the buyer at the time of purchase. The seller then remits the collected sales tax to the appropriate government.

4.Sales for this month
It shows how many sales have you done through the card and cash. In the context of a point of sale (POS) system software, this feature helps businesses monitor and analyze the distribution of sales revenue between card payments and cash transactions. By offering a clear breakdown, it enables businesses to understand their customers’ preferred payment methods, assess the effectiveness of different payment options, and make informed decisions about their sales strategy and financial management.

5.Sales for last 7 days
It shows a visual representation of sales data using a bar chart. This feature is likely part of a reporting in point of sale (POS) software. The bar chart visually displays the sales figures for each day over the past week, allowing businesses to quickly grasp trends, identify peak sales days, and assess overall performance. This graphical representation aids in making data-driven decisions and provides a convenient snapshot of recent sales activity.
